2021 Lazy River Vineyard
Nestled on the edge of a tree-capped promontory in the northern reaches of the foothills, Lazy River is a study in juxtaposition; south-facing yet much more sheltered than the surrounding ridges. It sits 400 feet above sea level atop a rare convergence of both marine sediment and volcanic soil. These moderating influences create a unique combination of depth and earthy richness.
"The 2021 Pinot Noir Lazy River saw the standard one-third whole clusters and offers a spicy, smoky, almost meaty profile in its red and black fruits, caramelized orange, violets, and Asian spices. Gorgeous on the palate as well, this medium to full-bodied, seamless, exotic Pinot Noir is going to drink nicely right out of the gate."

SUNU Pinot Noir, Oregon ‘Lazy River’ 2021
"Showcasing a light ruby and brick core with a watery rim, it almost looks like a darker style of Rosé in the glass. Toasted spice and fresh red fruit mix with flavors of crushed sage and Blood orange zest. Lean and mineral-driven, the tannins are sweet and integrated, while the perfect levels of acidity balance the peppery and fruity finish."
